Lolita and her six-year-old daughter were left homeless, hungry and desperate.
Hurricane Matthew picked up Lolita’s meager, wooden home and flipped it over. The winds also destroyed the plantations.
“There have been days since the Hurricane that I wasn’t able to give her [my daughter] anything at all to eat,” Lolita says as she wipes away a tear.
“I just need some help rebuilding my house and getting back my merchandise to be able to sell in the marketplace so that I can take care of my daughter again,” Lolita says.
The good news is that you are there to help Lolita! Your dollars are at work rebuilding lives and homes.
Thank you for staying even when the going is long and tough!
